End User License Agreement

1. Agreement and Publisher

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between the person or organization using B.O.B.™ The Meeting App (“you”) and BitTrib (“BitTrib,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the owner and publisher of B.O.B., also known as Business Operations Bridge.

By downloading, installing, accessing or using B.O.B., you agree to this Agreement. If you use B.O.B. for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept this Agreement for that organization. If you do not agree, do not install or use B.O.B.

2. License Grant

Subject to this Agreement, BitTrib grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to install and use the available B.O.B. release on Windows 11 devices that you own or control for personal or internal business meeting-preparation purposes.

B.O.B. is licensed, not sold. BitTrib and its licensors retain all rights not expressly granted.

3. Current Product Scope

B.O.B. is a meeting-readiness utility that may identify compatible cameras, microphones and speakers; display a local camera preview and microphone level meter; save local profiles and preferences; and detect supported meeting applications.

The current B.O.B. Free release stores a preferred-device plan locally and does not push camera, microphone or speaker selections into third-party conferencing applications. Features labeled Coming Soon, Planned, Pro or Business are not part of the current license until BitTrib makes them available.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

• copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense or commercially exploit B.O.B. except as expressly allowed;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction;
• remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution or proprietary notices;
• use B.O.B. to violate law, another person’s rights, organizational policy or a third-party service’s terms;
• interfere with, disable, bypass or test the security or licensing controls of B.O.B.;
• use B.O.B. to collect, record or monitor another person without legally required notice and consent; or
• represent that BitTrib endorses a product, service or organization without written permission.

5. Privacy and Device Permissions

B.O.B. may request camera and microphone permission for user-directed local device discovery, preview and level metering. B.O.B. is not a meeting-recording service and does not record, transcribe, store or upload meeting conversations.

Use of B.O.B. is also governed by the B.O.B. Privacy Policy. You are responsible for obtaining any notice or consent required for your use of cameras, microphones, diagnostic information or third-party services.

6. Third-Party Services

B.O.B. may detect, link to or operate alongside Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Cisco Webex, Slack and other third-party products. Those products are provided under their own agreements and privacy policies. BitTrib does not control and is not responsible for third-party availability, settings, content, security or data practices.

Names and marks of third parties belong to their respective owners. References identify compatibility or intended use and do not imply endorsement.

7. Microsoft Store

If you obtain B.O.B. through Microsoft Store, Microsoft’s applicable store, account, licensing and purchase terms also apply. If this Agreement conflicts with mandatory Microsoft Store terms, the mandatory Store terms control only to the extent of the conflict.

8. Updates and Changes

BitTrib may provide updates, corrections, feature changes or security improvements. Some updates may be required for continued operation or compatibility. BitTrib may change or discontinue features, but this Agreement does not grant access to a future paid plan, cloud service or feature before it is offered.

9. Ownership and Feedback

B.O.B., its software, design, documentation, branding and related intellectual property are owned by BitTrib or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. B.O.B.™ and Business Operations Bridge are BitTrib identifiers.

If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback, you grant BitTrib a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, without identifying you publicly unless you consent.

10. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, B.O.B. IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” BITTRIB DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION AND ERROR-FREE PERFORMANCE.

B.O.B. helps prepare a meeting environment but does not guarantee device availability, network quality, third-party application behavior or successful participation in any meeting. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BITTRIB AND ITS AFFILIATES, OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, BUSINESS, REPUTATION OR MEETING OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM B.O.B. OR THIS AGREEMENT.

BITTRIB’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO B.O.B. WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID BITTRIB FOR B.O.B. DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. These limits apply to the extent permitted by law and do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Termination, Law and Contact

This Agreement continues until terminated. Your rights terminate automatically if you materially breach it. Upon termination, stop using and uninstall B.O.B. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law and other terms that by nature should survive will survive.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Before formal proceedings, please contact BitTrib and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
